Be humbled to the only Bible you have to look up to

Reformation doctrine plus Counter-Reformation bibles doesn't work.

Because the Bible is the foundation of the faith. Your attitude towards the Bible influences your attitude to everything else regarding the faith.

The Traditional Text, Greek and Hebrew, in sound translation, is the only Bible you have to look up to. All other bibles man looks down on. All other Bibles are constructed by man. All other bibles need man more than man needs them. Only the Authorized - King James - Bible (the very name of which makes many of you mock like a devil at this point) forces you to look up to it and to accept that you need it more than it needs you. Only the AV1611 has the authority of the word of God in it rather than the word of man.

When you adopt an attitude of being above the word of God it doesn't matter what doctrine you hold to.

I myself read the nkjv, because it remains close to the translation of the kjv and it is easier to understand. My question is this: What if a baby believer happens to stumble upon an niv or nasb as their first bible, is God not able to reveal truth to them because of the translation they have? Does not the word say that the Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us into all truth? I understand that newer translations have significantly less words than the akjv..I've done research on this myself. But I can't be dogmatic and tell people they have to read this version. I refer people to the nkjv because of reasons stated in the beginning but ultimately the Lord will lead believers to the right bible for them. Not everyone can understand elizabethan english.. remember its not the letter, but the Spirit that gives life. Just my thoughts.

Another question is this: When you share the gospel with someone do you speak to them in elizabethan english? Or in words that they can understand?

For whatever reason God hasn't allowed a new translation from the Traditional, Received text, Hebrew and Greek. Corinthians tells us God is always making a situation where believers have to separate themselves to the truth. Divisions, false teachings, etc., will exist so that the truth will be know by comparison. The same with the pure and whole Word of God it seems.

If a person reads an NIV or any other Critial Text derived bible they certainly can be regenerated by it and get understanding from it. But once regenerated, once having the Spirit in them, they will want the pure and whole real thing.

In English the Authorized, King James, Version is the standard. Without it all the critical text translations would be babble. They follow it and crib from it for a reason. They deviate from it because the Devil needs a standard to deviate from. If the KJV didn't exist believing Christians would bring it back into existence from the received, traditional manuscripts, but the Holy Spirit shepherds God's revelation and preserves it.

I don't believe the KJV language is as difficult as the critical text industry constantly says, but if a person has difficulty with it the learn, learn, learn. If using lesser bibles to compare and contrast is needful then so be it. Just know the standard, the pure and whole Word of God exists, and you can hold it in your hand.
