How to be a warrior

The question is how to be a warrior?

1. Get rid of your fear of the world. That is bondage. A sort of guilt bondage. The world wields the law against you. You, Christian warrior, have victory and freedom over the ancient curse of the law. Fear God alone. Fear God alone in the face of fallen man and fallen angels.

2. Have gratitude over resentment for everything all the time. For everything, all the time.

3. Cultivate joy in the battle. When you're of a higher being (when you've tapped the higher elements of your soul) anger and hatred of the enemy no longer exists. The battle exists, but anger and hatred of the enemy no longer exists. What is left is a joyful warrior who can put fear and retreat in the enemy merely with presence.

For Work people (Ouspensky - Fourth Way) point 1. in the post is the 1st conscious shock. Fear of the world means being in a state of identification with the world. Fearing God alone is pulling out of that state. Self-Remembering in coded Bible language. Or the thing 'clothed' by a biblical term and practice.

Point 2. in the post is the second consvious shock. Replacing gratitude for resentment. Loving your enemy. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Point 3. refers to what follows the two conscious shocks. Tapping higher emotional center. Just heardva Reformed podcast where they were discussing something that was new to them; the fact that human beings have in them higher functions that the fall has cut off yet can be developed into. They were referencing Geerhardus Vos. Joy, in the sense this post references it, is a higher attribute found in higher emotional center.
