Those are obviously just paraphrases. Horton famously wrote a positive blurb for a new book by Pope Ratzinger awhile back. His fellow professor Clark has many times crossed the line from classical Protestant belief into a quasi-Romanist belief regarding mediatorship.

I wasn't aware of Horton's writing for the Pope. That's rather disturbing. As for RSC, I've been rather underwhelmed overall. I'll have to look into his views on mediatorship.

I did not realize they were paraphrases. The quotation marks along with my unfamiliarity with the doings of the big names in the reformed world threw me.

Thanks for your time.
