My concise definition of truth (my 3rd attempt)

Truth is an influence that emanates from the mind of God that you can discern first with your reason, your experience, and your conscience, but then ideally with your Holy Spirit and Word of God quickened mind and conscience.

Truth is not relative, nor is it subjective, nor does it evolve. It is absolute, objective, and unchanging.

Truth is discerned in the Book of Nature (all of creation including human nature and by degree works of human nature) and purely in the word of God (the Old and New Testaments).

Since truth exists in the mind of God it is above all creation (it is above the universe). It is subject to the Creator/creation divide.

Empirical fact and logical persuasion are enough to find truth in nature (creation), but only (by aid of the Holy Spirit) in the word of God can knowledge and understanding of God and salvation be found.

I like that description. It's also experiential, like a strong guiding lamp that illuminates higher objective from lower subjective influence and very much connected with real conscience. Lower parts have to labor, the higher see objective truth and real conscience acts as the objective arbitrator.
