Law and Gospel bullet points

I just added a 15th bullet point to this post on the deeper understanding of Law and Gospel. Here it is:

15. A big point about all this to know is: Law without Gospel is a formula for the demonic. The totalitarian states of the 20th century were all law and no gospel. They were thus blood-splattered hell-holes of suffering and death. Islam is all law and no gospel, hence it is a bloody hell show. (Funny how all law sounds like Allah, but anyway...)

The Satanic influence and tactics...everywhere

Just as many of us have been awakening to the kind and extent and degree of Satanic influence and activity on the world scale, and also at the government level, some of us - not all, because many people actually grew up in OK families - have also been awakening to it at the family level.

We live in a Satan marinated world.

We stay asleep to it because for one thing it is really depressing to awaken to it.

I, for instance, am kind of surprised not all children get molested in some way during their years of innocence and weakness.

Pedophiles seem to be Satan's largest stealth army.

The same Satanic techniques found at the world stage can be seen in our own families. False witness, dividing, abuse, gaslighting, accusing, shaming, and worse.

That Satanic spirit is everywhere. At all levels.

The good news is whatever pushes you or turns you or leads you to Christ and regeneration by the word and the Spirit is all good. Because this life is a blink of an eye. And there's suffering before glory. Just as Jesus suffered before He was glorified. And we experience what our Forerunner Jesus experienced.

Don't give Satan the victory.

Spiritual sustenance

I've always approached Bible reading as doing complete, cover-to-cover readings. Those are serious, dedicated efforts that pay off immensely.

Recently, though, I read something that made me think differently about that approach. I'll still do the complete efforts, but somebody pointed out that the word of God is like spiritual sustenance (man lives on more than bread alone). It is actual food for our spiritual nature. Thus one should take in that spiritual sustenance daily. I always thought daily Bible reading could get mechanical and have diminishing returns; but now seen as daily spiritual sustenance it shines a new light.

Perhaps for the daily Bible reading I could meditate on a small portion of Scripture.

Anyway, thought I'd pass that along...

Our future is towards Christ

Here is something to ponder: the culmination of history is the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. All before looked toward it; all after look back to it.

No historical event since is bigger than it.

The Second Coming might even be connected with the time and event of the crucifixion. As a node of all time.

So this gives a point to fix the mind and perspective on. It changes how one thinks of history...views history. The past is alive. It's populated with the unregenerate though, which is a pageant of death, in terms of sin. As regenerate Christians, on the other hand, our brothers and sisters are in Heaven with Jesus.

It's getting complicated. I'm losing some confidence. Do the regenerated totally leave from historical time? Once they physically die as regenerate yes. This is what some call the rapture perhaps. Happening in all time. Ongoing. Until Christ returns in the new fullness of time.

But nuclear war would not be bigger an historical event than the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Not the Black Plague, not the discovery of the New World, not World War II. Not the Industrial Revolution or the landing on the moon. (God knows what was happening in the pre-flood world regarding technology if you're looking for balance or symmetry and nothing new under the sun.)

So our future is towards Christ. Towards that culmination of history that is the death and resurrection, and the Second Coming. Both at that point in time.

Which means we are receding from the future. We look back to see the future. We seem to be past our own flood event (perhaps the world firestorm of the last hundred years) because we are now doing the ultimate sin that was happening in the pre-flood era: the manipulation of God's creation at the DNA level. When we reach the Garden it will be a desolate version. Then Jesus comes - returns - into all time at that crucifixion node of all time (let's say 33 AD).

So the post-millennialists see a garden at the end, but it's a desolate garden. Amillennialists see shit at the end, like a desolate, dead garden, maybe scorched with fire and bespattered with dark blood and bone fragments.

Let's settle once and for all this mystery of time. Time is recurrence, not linear. All events in time exist now. A simple illustration of this is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

This is Revelation 1:7. And every eye shall see Him. (This is the Second Coming.) Every eye including those who pierced him. How is that? Because those Roman dolts still live in their living time. (They are dead in sin in that living time, going round and round in recurrence; same life, same historical events. They may have developed their essential being, they may not have. They may have gone downhill. They may have been regenerated by the word and Spirit and resurrected to heaven.)

Birth and death meet for the unregenerate at Hades. Which is not hell fire. Hell fire is where the unregenerate are judged to after the Second Coming.

From Hades - the spiritual world, invisible to us - they are born back into their same life. That singular life each of us is stuck with is given warrant by the providence of God. Things can change in one's life, but that gets complicated; it's just important to know that providence decrees the date of birth and place and the types involved regarding family, status, etc.

All events that have occurred in time still exist. Just like the town the train goes by continues to exist even though it's no longer in sight.

When Christ comes He will come into all time and be seen by all under the sun, his Roman executioners as well as us here in the 21st century. Those transitioning at the time in Hades I'm sure will know and wail and moan that time has come to an end. Those who have been regenerated in their time (have died and gone to heaven) will be in Christ's army arriving with Him. Those just regenerated in that particular 'round' of recurrence when Christ arrives will be drawn up into the sky, so to speak, to be with the other regenerate.

The terror of the situation is with those who enjoyed dancing to the devil's tune. For them the harvest has arrived, and they are the chaff.

And, no, life won't be boring without evil and evil people, because there will be levels and hierarchy; and moving up a level causes friction and a baptism of fire (which seems like an evil). That is the replacement drama for the no longer existent battle between good and evil.
