An un-asked-for response to the iMonk

"As I’ve come to grips with the truth that most people don’t like me, I treasure my friends who do all the more."

Oh, come on, iMonk. People always get lambasted when they are seen self-identifying as something that they're not, especially when truth is involved (i.e. Reformed, Calvinist doctrine). You tried to maneuver away from being seen as Reformed and all that, but the fact is you got an audience via it, then you began to slam it in the "been there" mode.

You're also seen as a common, juvenile: "Look at me, will I embrace truth? won't I? stay tuned! Maybe I will....today! But tomorrow never knows!!!"

Self-absorbed, playing-with-evil, wobbly-ism as a way to gain and retain an audience. "What will the iMonk say about this? Oh, look, he thinks its OK to speculate that Jesus was gay. Oh, wait a minute, the iMonk is embracing a vigorous justification by faith alone today. Interesting. I'll tune in tomorrow to see what this unpredictable person will say. He will probably outrage me, or suprise me by agreeing with truth, either way I'll have something to react to."

It's all the same vampire-ism that plays out in television and radio talk show hosts, just on a smaller, internet scale. You want attention and energy like a vampire wants blood.

This ongoing lesson your wife is providing for you (her 'converting' to the Roman Catholic Church, provoking you from inside the domain of the Beast, being a mirror for you, and calling you to become real) will go to waste unless you start to get serious and embrace truth and stand in defense of it and proclaim it and live it.

The universe is a metaphor

This is interesting as a reason for explaining the vastness of the universe as compared to small Earth and the comparably small life of man:

The universe is a metaphor

"The immense magnificence of the visible world in inconceivable vastness, the incomprehensible height of the heavens, etc., is but a type of the infinite magnificence, height and glory of God's world in the spiritual world -- the most incomprehensible expression of his power, wisdom, holiness and love in what is wrought and brought to pass in the world . . . . These things are often compared in such expressions: Thy mercy is great above the heavens, etc."

Jonathan Edwards, quoted in The Christian Theology Reader, edited by Alister E. McGrath, pages 63-64.

Yes, it's called Federal Theology

The inability (or refusal) of modern day seminary-educated Reformed Christians to understand the republication of the Covenant of Works in the Mosaic Covenant is beyond words.

There is only *one* way to be saved: (take a deep breath, ready?) works. Either your own, or Jesus'.

The goal of the false teachers called Romanists, Federal Visionists, NPPers, and all similar fellow travelers today and in history is to eliminate the option of Jesus accomplishing your salvation by works. They want to keep the burden on YOU. Got it? How many times do you have to be told this? How many times do you have to have it explained to you? In how many ways? Come on, now...

By the way: it's called Federal Theology.

The Mosaic Covenant is a covenant of works for Jesus (and the nation of Israel as a type of Jesus), and in being a covenant of works for Jesus it is part of the Covenant of Grace for us.

And yes, life is earned in the Covenant of Works. Earned. Earned. Earned. Pre-Fall Adam and the God-man Jesus had ability to earn life in the Covenant of Works. See the difference there from fallen man?

What Adam failed to fulfill Jesus came to fulfill. The first and second Adams.

You are either 'in' Adam (a bad place to be) or you are 'in' Christ (a good place to be). Federal Theology. Doctrine that is no less than the armor of God. The false teachers know it is truth and a threat to their father's kingdom (that would be the Kingdom of Satan).

So the false teachers have to do away with an earned Covenant of Works, both in the Garden *and* on Sinai. Get rid of it. Why? As stated: so they can shift the burden of salvation right back onto you, fallen man that you are. I.e. so they can keep you in the system of the Beast and in the kingdom of their father which is the Kingdom of Satan.

Wise up. And stop sending money to your seminaries. They failed you.

PuritanBoard administrator caught being flippant, then exposes lack of chivalry in fellow PuritanBoard moderators

There's a woman (girl, woman, I don't know, it's enough that she is a female) at the PuritanBoard who recently joined and was in the midst of a thread where she was debating some of the other members and she was mostly doctrinally correct, but it was a lively debate. Then one of the more immature moderators over there, one Joshua, did what he likes to do, he came in and made a flippant remark in a thread he had no part or interest in. It just so happened to be an insulting remark to the lone female. Another chivalrous knight of the faith...not. A churchian, and a typical Village of Morality delinquent. (I had my own run in with this person where he reworded the title of something I wrote to make me look like a fool. My intro to that cesspool of churchianity the PuritanBoard.)

So this female - Sarah - did what I think is admirable: she told them to revoke her membership, then she announced she had left the forum for good.

Here is the pathetic part: none of the other moderators came to her defense. Again, no chivalry in churchianity. Just a bunch of effeminate men making cutting remarks about real women like gay boys in their little club.

The immature moderator in question (I've decided not to call him a creep or creepy, because I want to expunge the mean words from my usual vocabulary), Joshua, said his remark was not directed at Sarah. Right... Here's the sequence:

Sarah wrote in one of her just previous posts: "I believe it is a very important doctrine to get right. And I do think it should be hashed out."

Then a moderator named Contra_Mundum wrote: "Why don't we just acknowledge that this is all a pretty overwhelming scenario that defies neat categorizations?"

Then Joshua the flippant moderator who rebukes and disciplines all members like they are children wrote (sandwiched between little graphic faces of the "Oh my God, WOW!!!" variety: "Because there could be no more back and forth banter prowess displayed! We'd have to go back to work or something. Or read! We must hash it all out, Pastor!!!"

Sarah then responded: "I think this is rude. Certainly not a fruit of the Holy Spirit. I do work and I work hard. I do read not only the Bible but other godly men's work. But perhaps you're right. Perhaps I spend too much time here. Maybe it's time you take away my membership here."

Joshua then writes: "Sarah, I'm not really sure why you took this personally, it certainly wasn't directed at anyone in particular. *shrug*"

Look at the underlined parts above.

The PuritanBoard forum is run and controlled by these immature types. This is churchianity.

And it's unfortunate but par for the course that no other moderator came to her defense or said anything against the immature flippant acts of one of their fellow moderators. Why? Village of Morality rules. Never rebuke one of your own. They are respecters of persons to an absolute degree. And there is no chivalry in their camp. Churchianity. End times rot.

PuritanBoard is almost a parody site now

Every once in a while I stumble upon a thread at the PuritanBoard that exposes a gangrene of Satanic corruption that is just breath-taking.

Notice how the perverse irony of these men sitting at their computers in comfortable surroundings denouncing women who are out in the hell holes of the world spreading the Gospel never dents their minimum-to-stay-alive-level of self-awareness.

Go get some more ice cream from the 'fridge, warriors. Jesus is real proud of you.

Overheard in a Christian bookstore last night

Customer: "I'm looking for a study Bible for a woman just new to Protestantism."

Lady who runs the bookstore: "King James or something understandable?"

She then directed her to an NIV Student Bible.

Now, what the Lady-who-runs-the-bookstore really meant was: "King James or something she doesn't actually have to read?"

Written by a Christian king

Note to the PuritanBoard

Perhaps having a 'Calvinist Wading Pool' forum is not such a well-thought-out idea when to join your forum a person has to state that they hold to (which kind of has to also mean they understand) advanced confessions like the Westminster Standards and the 3 Forms of Unity.

That self-identified independent fundamentalist Baptist pastor you recently threw a bucket of monkey dung at can legitimately scratch his head wondering what kind of people make up this so-called PuritanBoard.

I mean, even if he did walk into a gay bar mistakenly, can you people just kind of 'talk' to people? I mean, like mature adults who self-identify as Christian do? You've set up a forum, pilgrims. That is a place to discuss things. So you've got this IFB there and your first kneejerk move is to identify him as an enemy and someone who needs to be banned and then you accuse him of lying. Any 'talking' involved there?

What they usually do at this point is claim that they have talked to people 'behind the scenes', but I can report that they most certainly do not do this. When they ban they just ban. No talking in public, no talking in private. Just juvenile delinquents, many of them 'ordained' pastors. (Oh, I'm getting heated up...)

God's elect don't like people who affect to be 'leaders' of Christians and who are nothing more than shallow, creepy, Beast-following 'church' 'leaders'. We kind of take offense. If you think you'll get away with it simply because you ARE getting away with it now, think again. Your reward will come when the King returns.

Yes, a barefoot mystic...

Boo. I write things like the previous post because I'm not a part of the church Christian level, but of the WAY. I.e. because I'm more what the church Christian level calls 'mystic' or some similar worse name they can come up with. But mystic just means, for someone who knows orthodox doctrine and is a Bible-believing Christian, practical level doing of the faith.

When I write for other audiences I don't tell people they are dung. I don't think. Maybe once or twice. Maybe certain types need to hear that. But generally I don't.

The churches today are not real. They are 'family time' and not serious environments for real Christians. A lone stranger, pilgrim, i.e. Christian, shows up and he's an outsider. Christians are outsiders in todays 'Christian churches.'

Calvin didn't leave the Roman Catholic Church until he could see the difference between the invisible essence of the Church and the outward visible buildings and so on. See Schaff, don't ask for a page number. In other words he didn't lose his respect for the RC 'Church' until he was able to see what real Church is, and it's not a building and group of people demanding conformity to their shallow, worldly demands, and in the case of Roman Catholicism their anti-Christian demands.

The fact is I was drawn to Calvinism because it is truth, and the truth is more than intellectual; the truth effects internal reorientation from being man-centered to being God-centered, and that happened to me prior to learning Federal Theology, but Federal Theology was what it was. This real element of Federal Theology is lost on academic Reformed Christianity and the people living under their 'fear of man' demanding influence. Calvin was a barefoot mystic compared to academic Reformed Christianity.

Ahh, looks like your time is running out...

Typically wet, ignorant, inane thoughts-passing-for-wisdom in churchianity:

It seems that the election results have gone in ways that make some Christians fear that the end times are upon us and evil is making its climactic rise to challenge the authority of God.

This… seems to take a very America-centric view of eschatology. Monsters like Hitler, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, and Josef Stalin have all risen and fallen and have not been the harbinger of the end times. But this guy wants to socialize our health care, and Jesus is supposed to be so enraged that he will come storming back to save us?

Please. The Christian faith is doing great. Christ’s church is being built. The gospel is exploding in other parts of the world. It’s not the end of the world… just because you think America’s going down the tubes or because you don’t like the guy elected to lead one branch of the government for the next four years.

If you’re struggling… just take a deep breath, put down your copy of Left Behind, and pray for the president-elect.

When the planes went into the World Trade Center towers a breach was made inaugurating a new era on this planet. The devil had never had permission or ability to breach God's country. When it happened, ask anybody at the time if they thought the U.S. would elect a black boy who grew up Muslim and was named 'Hussein' into the oval office. Ha, ha, ha, right. Now it's happened. And the churchianity pant-loads say "Take a deep breath." I can observe your filthy father the devil doing his thing without getting out of breath, churchianity boys and girls.

When the King returns it will be for taking out you dhimmi churchians as much as the monkey shit muslims.

We see the monkey shit muslims in Europe and we know that is not right. That is unusual. That is a breach in God's order. That is end-times unique. The same with this new breach and assault by the devil and his followers in America. God has his remnant and He has his lands. He gave over most of the world to the devil, and this is why we don't see it as unusual that the devil would own a Maoist China or the lands of the old Soviet Union or Africa or the middle east or Cambodia or any of them. God's people, God's remnant, were not in those lands. Those lands were the devil's territories. This is why the churchians and the liberals and all the rest of the devil's children cried and screamed so loudly when the U.S. went into Iraq. That was the devil's territory. They were channeling the displeasure of the devil, hollow fools that they are.

We are in the midst of the final anti-Christ uprising. Now the devil has been given power to deceive the nations. You see the devil's children all over the world working in concert now, thinking as one, and zeroing in on the last part of Earth that the devil has never owned: America.

When there is no where left to defile, churchians, then the King returns, and you get your churchian asses handed to you along with your friends the monkey shit muslims and the liberals and the atheists and all the rest of the devil's special children. And it will be Christians like myself handing your filthy ass to you. Guess what? I will show you no mercy.

Jihadists, Christ, Plutarch...

Someone has said that the only thing cool about Jihadists is their clothes. I'd add one other thing that strikes me as positive about them which is: simplicity. Whether it's real or not they give off a vibe of keeping what they value to things very few in number. One book, for instance. (And again, whether this is true or not it's the impression or vibe one gets from them.)

There is practical value and power in keeping things simple. When learning about things we may have to be involved in a zillion different influences and activities, but then once we find and awaken to the truth we should hew to it alone, but this is hard to do or recognize. There is always the desire to either seek novelty (even after we've passed the point where novelty turns into defiling the terminal point which is the truth we were seeking to begin with) or going backwards and indulging influences that are now really beneath us.

Luther said find your books and learn them. I forget the exact quote, but he said learn those few books (influences) well rather than engaging a thousand different influences shallowly.

In Christian environments there is continual talk of books, books, books, but few people if any want to be alone with the Bible solely. The latter approach almost seems to them mystical after awhile. I'm guilty as well, though I do counter this by making a real effort to read the Bible complete - intentionally, Genesis through Revelation, every jot and tittle - every few years, or as it works out, actually recording the number to keep myself honest (I'm currently in II Chronicles of my 6th complete reading as I write this).

There is power in simplicity. Once you know the truth and the source of the truth. There is power in having few belongings and interior belongings. There is power in being focused.

This applies as well to books of doctrine. Scholars are shallow, with their libraries of secondary literature. Yet look at that 'simple' old man in the village over there that you hear has only had a Bible and a worn copy of Boston's Human Nature in its Fourfold State, once a folk classic on par with Pilgrim's Progress; Boston's work being a simple, powerful, on-the-mark biblical treatise that actually gives a perspective on the history of redemption relating it to the states of man and delivering foundational, on-the-mark doctrine as well. A book the scholars would treat like it were a novel for teenagers compared to their endless, respected, multi-volume scholarly works of past and present.

And if the Holy Spirit has led you into a teaching, a language, an understanding of the actual ground-level practice of the faith (not philosophy, not theory, but actual practical knowledge and doing), that too needs to be hewed to and valued as the most important thing.

The old man, the simple fellow, in the village, over there, has that as well. He's impressive because he's not only recognized the value of it, but he's stayed with it. Who is being built up in the faith more? Turns out he also knows about war and wealth. Plutarch is going to be writing about him in his next volume. If he is not translated to the heavenly Kingdom before that. Maybe that will supply a good ending to the life.

You want blood, you got it

It's hard not to be drawn into these political things when a presidential campaign goes on for two years now. I get pulled in. Big issues are at stake too which tempts one to get all involved emotionally and so on.

Also, the left in America are mockers. They know, their leaders know, they are doing evil, and they grin and mock and say, basically, to people like me "You can't stop us, hee hee hee!" They provoke and tempt you to get all involved and identified with it all.

The devil's kingdom.

In America the margin for such game-playing though is big, or has been in the past. We could afford our idiots. Now the margin is not so big (and getting smaller), and it will be interesting to see how Americans in general react to the mockers now that they are in power and able to do the ultimate evil against this country.

I probably should just not get as worked up about it now. It's not like I have power other than a vote. I'll just watch, and get mocked and laughed at by the devil's fools of the world. If grass roots things are needed I'll do my part there. I'll pray. One person. But generally I won't be so emotionally attached to it all. Seeing the devil win is galling, but this is what happens until the return of the King.

11.08.2008

No chivalry

There's no chivalry among the left, this we all know. The left hates women. But really it is self-identified 'elitism' that is the culprit. Elitists tend to be decadent, if inanely so. Elitists hate anybody they discern to have good instincts. Like Sarah Palin.

The elitists on the right who so giddily went over to the Obama side are the same types who were inside the McCain camp. (McCain, that great 'aisle crosser'.)

Read this short post at the NR Corner to see what kind of class the 'elitists' have.

Then check out this blog post from the Weekly Standard to see what kind of quality control the liberal media imposes on itself.

A very creepy strain in Reformed churchianity

Look at this post-election post from a Reformed Christian:

It is important to see the silver lining in clouds.

a) Mrs. Clinton will have to wait 8 years before running for president;
b) Mrs. Palin will be able to spend more time with her children; and
c) America was spared from having a woman Vice President (although America has an even-more-firmly-entrenched female Speaker of the House).

This actually sounds sodomitish. Muslims are notorious secret sodomites and have similar effeminate and unchivalrous attitudes towards women.

These types of churchians will vote for a thousand liberal effeminate men before they'd vote for one conservative Christian woman.

The faith found in the Word of God is eschatological. When you have the Spirit in you, when you have been regenerated by the Word and the Spirit, 'male' and 'female' are seen to be what they are: flesh categories and roles among the unregenerate.

Regenerated Christians are neither 'male' nor 'female' which is why regenerated Christians so freak out not only churchianity Christians but the world (including the sodomites).

On unanswered prayer

A liberal troll at the Hugh Hewitt blog writes:

Oh God... You are pathetic. [...] Many, many people prayed to their Christian God for an Obama win. He won. So does that mean God anointed Obama to be elected? If so, AMEN.

If you prayed for God to grant McCain/Palin the presidency, well...that didn't work. He obviously doesn't agree with you. Pray harder next time. Perhaps your prayers were getting thwarted by satellites? Haha, righties are fun.

Yes, those of us who go against the easy currents of the devil in this world are easy to mock. We often pray for lost causes. Because we pray for what we see is right, or good, or in someone's or some thing's best interest. God knows our motivation, He knows what is in our heart. People die, the way of all flesh, that doesn't mean we don't pray for the healing of a sick child.

We don't know God's will. The Bible gives us some understanding of it, but in the moment, here in a point in time, our perspective is a bit limited. But the Bible tells us a great falling away shall occur before the return of the King. That fact alone let's a Christian know that what we may choose to pray for may not be in God's will or necessary in the great arc of His plan of redemption.

What is necessary is that His remnant stay awake and bold to discern up from down and act on it and not descend into a vain 'go with the flow' or disengaged attitude so as to avoid not feeling discomfort or to avoid being mocked by the world and the devil.

Let the world and the devil mock and have their illusion of victories for a time; God's remnant are being tempted and tested and tried and tempered, and all in the midst of a victory already won.

11.04.2008

Galling, but fallen human nature is not an invincible bulwark against the never-resting devil

It's galling to see the devil's children having their way in God's country (that's right Reformed liberal churchians, God's country, as much as that embarasses/angers you and causes you to mock and show your ignorance and ingratitude to the very God you pretend to worship).

Think about this though: the devil's children have been defiling this country at every step, getting it really going in the 20th century. Every time something big occurs, a turning point, we see the same behavior that makes you say "Can you believe they are saying/doing that? Can you believe the willful ignorance, the wickedness, the lack of shame?", but then it's forgotten. During WWII, leading up to it, the same leftist creeps said and did the same satanic things, then people forget. History doesn't record it. Some kind of devil influence among historians. They get their satanic victories that by attrition, and defiling at foundational levels have their deep impact, then everybody forgets.

The good news is God sees everything, and He will have vengeance on the wicked. Amen. May they be tossed down into the deepest fire pits of hell for eternity and stricken from the memory of everyone of God's own for eternity. Follow your devil leader to hell. Good riddance.

The only good thing about their victories in God's country is it hastens the time of the return of the King. When there is no where left to defile the King returns.

11.02.2008

And the devil grins...

Look at this sad statement:

"For example, could one disagree with question 6 of the Shorter Catechism, since it has 1 John 5:7 as a proof text for the Trinity, which is not a part of the cannon?"

This young man has been taught by seminary liberals and Jesuits wearing Protestant clothing that the Bible of the Reformation is a joke. That it contains verses and passages and whole sections that are 'not a part of the canon.'

This is why Christians are so painfully shallow and self-appointed Christian leaders are so painfully dumb, and why the authority of the Word of God has been replaced by the authority of inane man.

Pathetic.

(But God's own know the truth, and don't follow the dumb and wicked currents of the world. We have the Word of God, pure and whole. Authorized King James Version, and thank you Father in heaven for your Word pure and whole.)
